Come enjoy a sneak preview of Icelandic illustrator Brimrún Birta Friðþjófsdóttir’s debut graphic novel the Golden Circle ("Gullni hringurinn").
The Golden Circle is an exciting, new graphic novel with kids and young adults in mind. Young siblings Júlía and Ágúst must embark on an epic adventure to rescue the Sun herself from the clutches of the evil troll mother who dwells inside the Esja mountain. On their journey, the kids encounter the living incarnations of Gullfoss, Geysir and Þingvellir whom they must also help. They must also evade the troll mother’s vicious troll sons Stone, Rock and Boulder, who seek to stop the siblings in their tracks.
