That Jo Art is the artist name of Jóhanna Björk. Jóhanna’s work points viewers to the direction of escaping the daily life and appreciate the beauty and magical things. We all need a little magic in our life and get lost in beauty and art.
Jóhanna finds the cosmos, stars and the colours of the galaxy fascinating, she works with balance in most of her paintings and geometric patterns. Her abstract paintings have a gold leaf in them for an extra shine and viewers can also spot the balance it gives, the colours she works with in those paintings are dark and the shine comes from the gold leaf.
This is Jóhanna’s first exhibition, a total dream come true, it has been on her mind for years.
