Kristín (Kristal) is a fantasy artist who loves incorporating magic and hints of nature into her works! Having had a need to create from a very early age, the driving force of inspiration has always come from things like myth, mystery and otherworldly magical scenes/beings, as well as the small everyday things of beauty like plants and flowers.
Now for her second exhibit "Seasonal Elements" she turns her focus towards more abstract realms, taking inspiration from the basic natural elements of water, fire, earth and air and connects them with the weather and feel of the seasons! The pieces are mostly acrylic on canvas, depicting her feminine style of sensual lines and forms, enveloped by vibrant colours. --- Kristín (Kristal) er fantasíu listakona með sérstakan áhuga á náttúrunni. Það sem heillar hana mest eru plöntur, náttúran og allt sem tengist yfirnáttúrulegum verum og töfrandi heimum! Stíll hennar einkennist af kvenlegum línum og heillandi lit blöndum.
í fyrrasumar hélt hún fyrstu listasýninguna sína einnig á vegum Reykjavik Fringe, sem bar titilinn "Fantastical Beings" þar sem viðfangsefnið var aðallega kvenverur og kvenleg orka tengd náttúruöflunum.
Núna snýr fókusinn að frumöflunum (vatn, eldur, jörð og loft) og hvernig henni finnst þau tengjast árstíðunum. Þar sem allt tengist einhvern veginn og litir veðráttunnar tóna við liti frumefnanna.
