The wristband is valid throughout the festival and offers various discounts. - Irreverent and Sarcastic Huw C Jones returns for his 4th Reykjavik Fringe show. Bringing along a cumbersome title, a healthy dose of sarcastic one liners, and a surreal childlike outlook on the world, Huw seeks to make you laugh at the sadness of the last year or so. Fresh material from 2021 will meet slightly less fresh material from 2020, and be mixed into a dry, but punchy, 40 minutes of funny-sad.
Huw is the one of the closest things Reykjavik comedy has to a veteran, bringing his dry one liner style to Reykjavik's burgeoning English language scene in 2015. He is frequently referred to as a great joke writer by the Secret Cellar's own York Underwood, and was a local favourite of Jonathan Duffy, who was pretty famous for a foreign stand up before leaving Iceland. He won an award in 2019, but it was for being nice. Respected by his peers, and amusing to his audiences, he has a grumpy voice to go with his nice hair.
Huw will be supported by his local friends and funny folk, including Mauricio Villavizar and Friðrik Valur. "
